Fresh to the market from a local hawaiian faimly is this gorgeous antique hawaiian quilt that dates from the very early 1920's. Lovingly cared for, this treasured family heirloom was passed down for several generations and was stored in a cedar chest hence the great condition. There are a few minor spots which are visible in photos below but overall is in great condition! Measuring 64 x 81, the design is thought ot be that of the plumeria.
A piece worthy of even the finest collection, we rate this quilt in the top ten as far as condtiion and crispness in the thirty years of handling such material and is one of the few blue and white quilts we have had the pleasure of handling.
